Margaret Kremer Dies; Services Held, St. Donatus.
St. Donatus, Mar. 12-Mrs. Margaret Kremer, 64, of LaMotte, died Saturday afternoon, Feb. 28(1953), at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning, March 3rd, from the Hoffman Mortuary, Dubuque, to St. Donatus Catholic Church, St. Donatus, at 9:00 o'clock. The Rev. Peter M. Graff pastor, offered the requiem high mass and officiated at the interment.
Her husband Matthew Kremer, survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Alfred(Gertrude)Butlett, Dubuque, Hrs. Herman Theis of Bellevue, Mrs. Raymond(Martha)Rhomberg, Dubuque, Mrs. Leonard(Veronica)Rhomberg, of Maquoketa and Mrs. Vernon(Dorothy)Thomas of Dubuque; three sons, Albert of Bernard, and Lawrence at home; one sister, Miss Catherine Weber of Fountain, Minn.; two brothers, Louis Weber of Bellevue, and Albert of Dubuque, and 31 grandchildren. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Weber, a sister, Mrs. Nick(Clara)Kremer, and one son, Roy, preceded her in death. Pallbearers, all nephews, were Edward and Albert Weber, Jr., Donald and Vincent Kremer, and Alvin and Clarence Mueller. (Jackson Sentinel, March 13, 1953.)
