MEETS DEATH IN COAL MINE
Mrs. Ross Doran received a message Friday telling of the accidental death of her father, J. E. Jones, at Scammon, Kans. The cause of the accident has not been learned, but he met death while at work in a coal mine where he has worked since a boy ten years of age, and had never meth with a serious accident until this, which caused his death.
Mrs. Doran had just returned from a month's visit with her people, and was greatly shocked to learn of the accident. Se left Tuesday evening for Scammon to attend the funeral.
