HENRY BECK
Services for Henry Beck, 95, 808 E. Platt St., were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at Carsons Funeral Home in Maquoketa. Mr. Beck died Friday, Feb. 12, at Crestridge Nursing Home.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Delmar. The Rev. William Palmquist of the First Lutheran Church of Maquoketa officiated.
He was born May 10, 1886 in Maquoketa to John and Elizabeth (Keck) Beck. He married Louise Zismer on Feb. 26, 1913 in Delmar. She preceded him in death on June 25, 1972.
Mr. Beck was retired from the state highway commission and was a member of the IOOF.
He is survived by one son, Claude of Maquoketa; one grandson; and one grea-grandson.
Mr. Beck was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters and six brothers.
