William U. Littell dies here Thursday. William U. Littell, a lifelong resident of Maquoketa, died Thursday morning at the age of 84 years. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m., at Buchner's Chapel, Rev. Harry Green officiating. Burial will be at Wyoming, Iowa. Mr. Littell was born July 10, 1863, at Wyoming, Iowa, a son of Hiram and Emeline Littell. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Maude Taylor, Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Lola Johnson, Rapid City, S.D., and Mrs. Mede Francis, Barsette, Neb; also a cousin, Mrs. Ada Roberts of Maquoketa.
