Henry W. Sommers, 81, a retired rural Maquoketa farmer, died late Saturday at his home near Fulton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Carlson Funeral Home with burial in the Andrew Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Ida; two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Fern) Allen, Salt Lake, Wash.; and Mrs. Ruth Lary, Sacramento, Calif.; one brother, Edmund (Jim) Sommers of Bellevue; and four grandchildren.
