MAQUOKETA — Warren Lee Bowman, 82, of Maquoketa, died Saturday at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.

Burial will be in Andrew Cemetery.

He was born July 17, 1924, in Jackson County to Kenneth and Laura Bolt Bowman. He married Lucille Kremer on July 17, 1945, in Andrew.

He attended rural schools and graduated from Andrew High School in 1944.

He farmed until 1975 in rural Andrew. He and his wife moved to town where he worked with United Livestock and the Maquoketa Sale Barn.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Laurie (Alan) Mohr of Maquoketa and Susie (Curtis) Erickson of Sparta, Wis.; three sons, Warren (Connie) Bowman Jr. of Ogden, Utah, Phillip (Sandy) Bowman of Albuquerque, N.M., and Kenneth (Pam) Bowman of Maquoketa; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Owen and Neale Bowman, both of Andrew.

Memorials are preferred.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
