MAQUOKETA — Wilma C. Kraklio, 90, of Maquoketa, died Saturday at Jackson County Regional Health Center, Maquoketa.
Burial will be in St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery, Long Grove.
She was born Feb. 26, 1916, in Delaware County to William and Mary Glauser Doll. She married Francis McDonald in Iowa. He preceded her in death. She then married Raymond E. Kraklio on July 21, 1962, in Long Grove. He died in 1999.
She was a 1935 graduate of Onslow High School.
She worked as a nanny in New York and Chicago and then as an office assistant with International Harvester, Rock Island, Ill. She then became a homemaker and farmed with her husband, Raymond, in the Donahue area for many years. She moved to Maquoketa in 2001.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa, and the Maquoketa Garden Club.
Survivors include her children, Loris Kraklio of Delmar and Raye (Debbie) Kraklio of Long Grove; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Doll of Onslow; and a special friend, Mel Stiles of Maquoketa.
A Wilma C. Kraklio Memorial Fund has been established.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one daughter and one grandchild.
