Edna Mae Wallace, 76, of 907 Main Street in Delmar died Wed. Dec. 6, 2006 at the Genesis West Hospital in Davenport after a short illness. Memorial services at 11 AM on Sat. Dec. 9, 2006 at the United Methodist Church in Delmar. The Cremation Society of Eastern-Central and Western Iowa is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ruggeberg of Delmar and Debra Bagley of Tyrone, PA., three sons, Roger of Virginia, Billy of Arizona and David of Dewitt, several brothers and sisters and 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Edna was born on July 26, 1930 in Woodbury County, Iowa, the daughter of Glen and Leola Riley Cook. She married Elden L. Wallace on Sept. 17, 1947 in Elk Point, SD. He died in 2004. Edna was a nurse’s aid at area nursing homes for several years. She enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre, she liked to sew, her cats and dogs and collected angels.
