Mamie M. Kyarsgaard, 86, of 3312 Pershing Blvd., died Friday in Samaritan Hospital North.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pape Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Krueger of Calvary Lutheran Church, Sabula, Officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Duane, Gary, Bryon, Michael, Timothy, Tommy, Dennis and Kevin Kyarsgaard, Reynold Giddings and Darold Swanson.
She was born Feb. 26, 1912, in Preston, to George and Dorothea Jurgenson Beck. She married Charles A. Kyarsgaard, April 1, 1933, in Clinton. She and her husband farmed in the Miles and Sabula area until 1966 when they moved to Clinton. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Sabula, and a former member of A.M.V.E.T.S. and Loyal Order of Moose.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Joan (Ralph) Bolton of Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Dorothea (Harvey) MCGrath of Salinas, Calif., Mrs. Lola (William E.) Giddings of Sabula; four sons, Duane Kyarsgaard of Sabula, George and Delbert Kyarsgaard both of Camanche, and Eldon Kyarsgaard of Prophetstown, Ill.; 26 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 46 great- grandchildren; 13 step-great- grandchildren; six step-great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Iola (LeRoy) Roenfeldt of Sabula; and a brother, Freddie Beck of Maquoketa.
