Clinton- Charles A. Kyarsgaard, 90, of Clinton died Wednesday at Eagle Point Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. Krueger of Calvary Lutheran Church in Sabula officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Duane Jr., Dennis, Gary, Tim , Tom, Kevin, Brian, and Mike Kyarsgaard, Reynold Giddings, Georgia and George Kane.

He was born June 29 , 1912 , in Sabula to Dale and Mary Yappen Kyarsgaard. He married Mamie Beck on April 1, 1933, in Clinton; she died in 1998.

He farmed in Jackson and Clinton counties for many years and work Waukeska Engines for 10 years before retiring in 1977. He was a member of Calvery Lutheran Chruch.

Survivors include four sons George ( Bernice) Kyarsgaard and Delbert (Maxine) Kyarsgaard of Comanche, Duane Kyarsgaard of Sabula, and Eldon (Louise) Kyarsgaard of Prophetstown, Ill.; three daughters Mrs Lola (Willy) Giddings of Sabula, Mrs Joan (Ralph) Bolton of Statesboro, Ga., and Dorothea McGrath of Fresno, Ca.; 32 grandchildren; 79 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren, a and brother Louis Kyarsgaard of Maquoketa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson , two brother and two sisters
