Mrs. G. Ketchum
Will Be Friday

Rev. Cleworth Will Officiate at the Service in the Community Church

Funeral services for Mrs. George Ketchum, 45, will be conducted at 12:30 p. m. Friday in the Cormmunity church, with the Rev. T. Stuart Cleworth, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Savanna cemetery. The body reposes at the family home in Chestnut park.
Charlotte Maude James, daughter of Richard and Caroline Yappen James, was born Nov. 22, 1893, in Sabula, Ia, She died Wednesday at her home in Chestnut park at the age of 45 years, nine months, and 25 days. The deceased was reared in Sabula and educated in the Sabula schools. Her marriage to George Ketchurn took place on Dec. 22, 1909, in Clinton, Ia. Three children Were born to Mr. and Mrs. Ketchum. The family came to Savanna in 1921 and, with the exception of a few years, had lived in Chestnut park.

Mrs. Ketchum had many friends and acquaintances.

Surviving are the husband, two daughters, Mrs, John (Lauretta) Klett of Dubuque and Mrs. Hayes (Zelda) Frazier of Thomson, one son, Omar, at home, seven grandchildren, two brothers, Albert James of Preston, Ia., and Austin James of Colfax, Calif., and Three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Josephine) Riede of Independence, Ia., Mrs. Estelle Wilt of Amarilla, Tex.. and Mrs. Reed (Alice) Handy of Washingion, D. C., and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
