Sabula Gazette, reprinted in the Jackson Sentinel, Nov. 13, 1902

A runaway at Hugh Doyle's farm, south of Sabula, Saturday, resulted in Mr. Doyle's ten year old daughter having her arm broken. Mr. Doyle, his daughter and a hired man were in the wagon in the cornfield when the horses ran away, throwing all of the occupants out of the wagon. The little girl was the only one injured. Her broken arm was set by Dr. R. H. Porter and she is getting along nicely.
