DEN OF SNAKES-
C. F. Hoover, of near Sterling, located a den of snakes under an apple tree in his orchard. With the assistance of his hired man he grubbed out the tree and found the reptiles. The men made an attack on the reptiles and after killing all in sight, they counted forty-five, some of them measuring three feet in length.-Savanna Journal
