Maquoketa Record, March 11, 1903

A very pretty event took place at St. Patrick's Church, Garryowen, Tuesday, February 24th, when the marriage of Will Leonard and Miss Josie O'Connell was solemnized by Rev. James Kelly in the presence of a large numer of friends and relatives. The wedding march was played by little Loretta Noonan, niece of Mrs. M. Boyle. After the services at the church, the bridal party proceeded to the home of the bride's parents where a dinner awaited them. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Leonard of Garryowen and is an industrious and enterprising young man. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William O'Connell and is a charming young woman.
