Hinke-Cook Vows Spoken Oct. 27 At Los Angeles
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence L. Cook today announced the marriage of their daughter Evelyn Kay to Cpl. Clarence H. Hinke, U.S.M.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence H. Hinke of Maquoketa. The ceremony took place Wednesday, October 27, at St. Columbkille’s Catholic Church in Los Angeles, California., with Rev. James L. Nevin, Marin Chaplin, officiating. Attendants were Cpl. And Mrs. Edward Pliska. Both Cpl. And Mrs. Hinke attended Maquoketa High School and graduated with the class of 1943. Cpl. Hinke enlisted in the Marine Corps in March, 1943, and recently completed extensive training in a telephone company of the Signal Corps. The couple will reside at 744 South Serrano Street, Los Angeles, Calif.
