Civil suit over Green Island levee

August Krumviede and Charles Mangler have filed a civil suit against Marburger, Scholtz and Krabbenhoft, all of Green Island. The case will be heard July 17th.

The purpose of the suit is an endeavor to have removed the Green Island levee on the Maquoketa River which Krumviede and Mangler claim is damaging their property interests.
