Church Welcomes New Minister

A pot luck supper and get-together to welcome the Rev. and Mrs. Alan F. Eddy into the Congressional church was well attended Wednesday evening. The event was opened with a devotional service by the Rev. Eddy.
At a business session, reports were heard from the officers, ladies society and Sunday school.
Dr. D. N. Loose and M. W. Joiner were elected deacons for a three-year term. L. W. Romer and Hugo Staack were elected trustees also for three years.
