A. F. Dawson to face police magistrate.

A. F. Dawson was arrested by the Davenport police on a charge of violating the city automobile ordinance this morning. Dawson, who was arrested by Officer Moeller on Second and Brady streets is charged with passing a street car from which passengers were being discharged.

Charge banker with speeding.

President A. F. Dawson of the First National Bank was arrested by Officer Moeller of the Davenport police this afternoon on a charge of violating the automobile speed ordinance. Mr. Dawson was stopped by the officer near the Second and Brady streets intersection. He put up bonds and will appear for trial before Magistrate Roddewig tomorrow morning.

(note: Albert F. Dawson was born in Spragueville, Iowa, and served as Congressman, representing the Second Congressional District of Iowa for three terms.)
