WILL
I, Charles H. Harp, of the City of Maquoketa, County of Jackson and State of Iowa, being of full age, sound mind, and disposing memory, do hereby make, execute and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills made by me.
FIRST: I direct that all just debts and charges against my estate be first fully paid.
SECOND: I will and bequeath to my wife, Mary Harp, all of the household goods, furniture and furnishings owned by me at the time of my death.
THIRD: All the rest residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal property of every kind and nature and wheresoever the same may be situated, I will, devise and bequeath to my wife, Mary Harp for and during her lifetime, only and subject to such life estate, to my four children, Albert Harp, Alva Morris, Marila Gee and Mathilda Hardin, to be equally divided between them, share and share alike.
FOURTH: I nominate and appoint my son, Albert Harp, sole executor of this, my last will and testament and exempt him from giving any bonds as such.
