Abraham Lincoln Centenary
An Abraham Lincoln Centenary Program To Be Held At Rice’s Opera House, Friday February 12th, 1909.
The following program will be rendered under the auspices of the Grand Army of the Republic and Women’s Relief Corps:
Tri-State March-Hammell’s Orchestra.
Call to order at 7:45 p.m. by Post Commander Jas. McDonald with bugle call.
Song by chorus and audience-“America.”
Invocation-Rev. A. T. Foster.
Song by chorus under direction of Mrs. S. E. Ripple-“The New Columbia.”
Reading of Governor’s Proclamation.
Song by sextet-“The Stars and Stripes Forever,” with flag salute by Women’s Relief Corps.
