Married- At the pleasant and hospitable home of Mr. and Mrs. R.G. Grint in the Third ward on Wednesday, January 22, at 6:30 pm. Mr. Charles H. Safford and Mrs. Adina E. Taylor were united in marriage in the presence of a few guests. Rev. D. F. Boomershine performing the ceremony. Mr. is a brother of Mrs. Grant and some twenty years ago operated a sash and door factory on the site of the Phillips Mill. He is now located in New Hampton, Iowa, and is proprietor of a flour and feed mill. The bride, Mrs. Taylor, is a genial and cultured woman and came from Washington, New York, near Mr. Sandford's old home and were a lovely silk wedding gown trimmed in an over lace yoke. An elegant four course wedding feast was served and fully enjoyed by the happy company. Mr. and Mrs. Safford leave at once for their home in New Hampton, where they will be at home to their many friends, all of whom join in wishing them a long, happy and prosperous life. 1-22-1908 Jackson County, Iowa.
