Received of L. F. Millikan Guardian of Robert Millikan one thousand dollars in full of legacy contained in the will of William C. Boardman, deceased this February 5, A. D. 1886.

Note: The will of William C. Boardman left $1000 for the education of Robert A. Millikan. Millikan was the recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1923.
