SPIRITUALIST PICNIC

Under escort of Prof. Kroyer’s Brass Band the following persons left our city Saturday morning to attend the picnic at the Spiritualists’ campground at Clinton: Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Dobson and Miss Cora and Master Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Northrop; Mr. and Mrs. Raines; Dr. J. Munson; E. E. Howell; Samuel Doty; Miss Hannah DePew; Mrs. Spotts. The exercise Saturday consisted of a sociable and dance and Sunday was taken up with addresses by Moses and Mattie Hull, of this city, Prof. Danforth and Dr. Randall of Chicago and others. There were a number of people in attendance from DeWitt, Davenport, Lyons, Chicago and other points.
