-Father J. B. Gaffney, of Otter Creek, enlightens us on a matter that will doubtless be news to a large number of our readers. In the northwest corner of that township there is a grove of pine trees, comprising several hundred acres, and a dozen or more of them have been transplanted to the garden of Father Gaffney, all of them growing finely. We had heard of pine trees up there before, but always supposed it was a hoax. Some of these trees are quite large.
