JACKSON COUNTY-

We have the official vote of this county. For Governor, Kirkwood, Rep., has 1, 289, Merritt, Dem., has 1,322; for Representatives, E. Dorr, Union Dem., has 1,359, J. P. Eaton, Rep., 1,322, J. Ryan, Dem., 1,286, and Wm. Graham, 1,305; County Judge, B. F. Thomas, Union Dem., 1,315, P. B. Bradley, Dem., 1,323; Treasurer and Recorder, N. Kilborn, Rep., 1,281, and F. Mullen, Dem., 1, 391; for Sheriff, J. Watkins, Rep., 1,380, and J. Thompson, Dem., 1,282; Drainage Commissioner, T. C. Wilson, Union Dem., 1,350, and N. T. Wynkoop, Dem., 1,306; Superintendent of School, S. S. Simpson, Rep., 1,058, Allen Palmer, Dem., 1,260.

It will be seen that Merritt has 33 majority. Dodge had 264 majority in 1858. We are indebted to W. P. Haywood for the official returns.
