Peter Jacobson, a farmer of Hampshire township, Clinton county, was killed by a runaway team Monday. He had pitched on a load of oats and was climbing onto the wagon to drive to the stack when the team started, and as the boy who was driving was unable to control them they ran over Mr. Jacobson instantly killing him.
