In The Estate of Mark Current, deceased.

Dated March 22, 1850, filed August 3, 1851 in Book B, Page 47, Office of the Clerk of District Court.

IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN:
I, Mark Current, of the Town of South Fork, in the County of Jackson and State of Iowa, being of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament, I give and bequeath to the first son of Charity Fletcher, she being known by the name of Charity Curry, and to the first son of Catherine Strome, she being known as Catherine Strome, at the birth of the son, my real estate in the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section Twenty Four, Township Eighty Four, Range Two East of the Fifth Principal Meridian in District of Lands, subject to sale at Dubuque, containing 80 acres, to be equally divided between them.

Will duly proved and allowed August 3, 1851.

(The above described land is the Southwest portion of the City of Maquoketa, south of Platt Street, north of Summit Street, and on the east and west sides of Highway 61.)
