February 1, 1850ACCIDENT
The mail coach from the north in entering our city on Monday night last, about 9 o’clock, upset and considerably injured General VAN ANTWERP, of Keokuk. His left collar bone was dislocated, and he was otherwise bruised. There were three other passengers, STEPHEN HEMPSTEAD, ESQ., of Dubuque, among them, but they escaped unhurt.
