The Judicial District Convention-
The question is, when and where shall the Convention be held? As there is no District Committee, the duty of arranging these matters devolves upon the several County Committees, we presume. The County Committee of Dubuque County recommends Maquoketa, Jackson County, as the place, and the 26th of February as the time. If there is no serious objection, this arrangement will no doubt be adopted. The matter calls for prompt action, as there is not much time to spare.
