Mr. A. P. Bowman will lecture at the Esgate school house, five miles northwest of Maquoketa, on Sunday, June 15, at 11 o’clock a.m., on the “Harmonial Philosophy” or “Modern Spritualism.” All interested in the life to come would do well to attend. Mr. Bowman is a good, honest, straightforward man, and can present new truths to his hearers in the least objectionable manner. We earnestly invite all the friends of liberal and progressive thought from adjacent parts of the county to attend on the 15th, with a view of ascertaining how long we can employ Mr. B. as a lecturer.
