Talented Ellis Family Will Join Chautauqua July First.

The well known and popular Ellis family of musicians of this city have been booked by the Midland Chautauqua Bureau for the summer months, the circuit to which they have been assigned being through the lake regions of Wisconsin and Minnesota. This organization, comprising Mrs. J. B. Ellis, son Paul and daughters, the Misses Margaret and Marian, is immensely popular in this community and it is little wonder that their exceptional musical talent has been recognized by the Midland Bureau. This accomplished family will not only do credit to themselves but will serve to bring the name of their home town before the lovers of high-class entertainment and we are proud that the Timber City can contribute a musical family to the uplift, entertainment and betterment of the public.

The family will start on their circuit about July 1st, and appear under the name of “The Ellis Family Entertainers.” The personnel with their roles being as follows:

Mrs. J. B. Ellis – Piano, Saxophone, Marimba.

Paul Ellis – Soloist, Violin, Saxophone.

Miss Margaret – Soloist, Piano, Marimba

Miss Marian – Musical readings, Dancer, Drums

Interest of many friends here will follow the Ellis Family Entertainers as the home folks wish them a delightful summer and successful engagement.
