Candidate for Speaker

We are handed a copy of the Square Butte (Montana) Tribune by Mrs. A. Porter of this city, and in which we note that her brother W. R. Felton, is a candidate for speaker of the state house of Representatives with bright prospects of grabbing the honor. Mr. Felton was formerly a resident of this locality graduated as a civil engineer at Cornell College, and for fifteen years was employed as engineer by various railroad companies, and becoming tired of being on the road the great portion of the time, turned his attention to farming in which business he is now engaged. We’re might glad to hear of our Iowa boys making a name for themselves and the Hawkeye state.
