Death of Amon Battles

Amon Battles, aged 58 years, passed away at the home of his nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Gregory, Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 3 a.m., following a stroke of paralysis which he suffered only shortly before his death. The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 following a short prayer at the home.
