JACKSON CO. CAVALRY. – While at Andrew last Saturday we saw the Cavalry Company forming at that place, on drill. They made a very fine appearance considering the length of time they have been on drill. They have chosen as Captain, JOSEPH MCCORMELL; 1st Lieut., SAMUEL FOSTER; 2d Lieut., A. D. MCCOMBS. They have on the roll about 50 men, and others whose names are not down yet that will join them. Arrangements are being made for their uniform, and their services have been tendered to the Governor. It is their desire to fill the company as soon as possible, to be in readiness whoever they may be called into service.
