-Two of the most beautiful monuments which the hand of affection has placed in our cemetery are those of the late R. B. Chase, and Miss Mary I., adopted daughter of W. J. Boardman. Both these beautiful specimens of art were placed in the cemetery during the past week, and are constructed of finely polished Italian marble, about twelve feet in height. The designs are beautiful and tasty, bearing a very close resemblance to each other, the base being square, with cornice, and surmounted by a plain marble shaft. They were manufactured by Mr. J. J. McDonnell, of Lyons, and reflect the great credit on his skill as a workman. They cost $325 each.
