Plat dated January 25, 1851
Filed February 14, 1851
in Book E, Page 298, Office of the Jackson County Recorder.

All streets and alleys run due north and south and east and west on the west side of the river, and those on the east side of the river run north 7 degrees west, and cross streets and alleys cross them at right angles. All lots are 55 feet by 158 feet, fractional lots are 55 feet front by the respective distances marked on the plat. All streets are 60 feet wide and all alleys are 14 feet wide. That piece of land marked A and all the land lying between the plat as drafted and river (except that piece marked C, which is deemed to J. E. Hildreth) is reserved for the use of the water power. B is a piece of land, the undivided half of which is deeded to John J. Tomlinson by J. E. Hildreth.
