September 14, 1871Messers. Dostal & Hoffman, of the Maquoketa Brewery, are putting up a large addition which is to be used as an ice house, and vault for beer. Its dimensions are 70 x 28 feet, and two stories in height. The first or ground floor is to be of stone, and will contain the vaults. The second story will be built of brick, and will be used as an ice house. This addition will make it the largest and best brewery in the county.
