Married.

MOWERS – LANGRIDGE. On Wednesday evening, June 5th, at the home of Rev. G. C. Chandler, the officiating minister Mr. LeRoy G. Mowers and Miss. Maude L. Langridge were united in marriage. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Ocea McCard, sister and brother-in-law of the bridegroom. The bride was daintily attired in a gown of fawn louisine silk, white hat and gloves, and carried a bouquet of cream roses. The groom wore the accustomed black.

After the ceremony the wedding party repaired to the pleasant home prepared for the young couple on Matteson Ave., where the relatives of both parties partook of a bountiful wedding supper.

LeRoy Mowers, son of Chas. B. Mowers is well-known in Maquoketa, being employed at Hansen’s creamery. The bride is also well known. She was born in Maquoketa during the pastorate of the late Rev. Richard J. Langridge of the Baptist church. The presents were handsome as well as useful. The newly married couple have already gone to housekeeping.
May long life and happiness be their portion.
