LOUIS GRUENWALDs MARK RUBY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gruenwald of Savanna, Ill., celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary on Thursday, Feb. 16, 1956. Seventy-three friends and relatives attended their open house.

Louis Gruenwald and Ida Weede were married at Nashville, Feb. 16, 1916 by the Rev. D. W. Boomershine of the Maquoketa Reformed church. The couple farmed near Nashville for 30 years. Retiring in 1946 from the farm, they have since made their home in Savanna.

Mr. and Mrs. Gruenwald are parents of seven children: Harvey and Eugene of Maquoketa, Leo Gruenwald and Mrs. Albert (Clara) Klein of Savanna; Alvin of San Jose, Calf.; Robert, Terrance, Calf.; and Mrs. Eileen Good of Iowa City.
