JORGENSEN-RAY NUPTIALS
The St. Paul's Lutheran church of Clinton was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Wednesday, April, 7, at 3 p.m., when Miss Elizabeth Ray became the bride of Svend Jorgensen. Rev. Leamer officiating, using the beautiful ring ceremony. They happy couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Russell Higgins.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.M. Ray of this city and has been employed in Van Allen's store in Clinton for the past two years. She was attired in a beautiful gown of navy blue and rose silk crepe and carried a bouquet of tea roses, and the bridesmaid carried a bouquet of sweet peas.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Jorgensen, 146 N. 6th street, Clinton and has been employed in a grocery store.
After a short wedding trip to Davenport they will remain in Clinton where they will make their home. Their many friends extend best wishes for a long life of happiness and prosperity.
