WILHELM-PORTER NUPTIALS
A very pretty wedding was consumated in the marriage of Miss Laura Wilhelm to Mr. George W. Porter. The marriage took place at Trinity Cathedral, Davenport, on Saturday at 5 p.m., the Rev. David Ferguson officiating. The attending witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. Mort R. Wilhelm of Andrew.
Miss Wilhelm, one of our high school teachers for several years, has a host of friends in the social and educational life of this city, who extend congratulations and very best wishes. Mr. Porter is a steady, industrious and dependable young man, occupying a fine position with an auto firm in Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. Porter are spending a short honeymoon in Wisconsin. On their return they will make their home in Chicago.
