CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY
Mrs. Sybil Griffin celebrated her ninetieth birthday Thursday, and has been the custom for several years, many of her friends, neighbors and relatives gathered at her home on N. Dearborn street and spent the day with her. Each carried a basket of good things to eat and a bountiful dinner was served.
Mrs. Griffin is enjoying very good health for a woman of her years, lives alone and does all of her own housework, which is indeed very remarkable.
Her daughter, Mrs. Ed Hainer, and family, and son, Harry Griffin and family, were present on this occasion, which event is looked forward to by Mrs. Griffin as on bright spot in each year's happenings. Her many friends hope for several more years of health and happiness for Mrs. Griffin.
