SHOOTS TWO WOLVES:
Ray Duhme, farmer living north of Maquoketa, is shown with two wolves that he trapped and shot last week(January,1949). Rarely seen around here, the animals weighed an estimated 45 or 50 pounds. (Maquoketa Community Press, January 27, 1949.)
