Don McDonald Receives Clinton Engines Post.
Don L. McDonald has been appointed assistant manager of sales in a reorganization of Clinton Engines Corporation's international operations division.
Mr. McDonald's promotion was announced this week by Robert Peot, director of international operations. Peot said the reorganization is being effected to support "an aggressive overseas sales campaign". He said that Mr. McDonald, a native Maquoketan and a graduate of the University of Dubuque, will be responsible for handling sales and sales promotional efforts in the international field.
McDonald, son of Mrs. Vivienne McDonald of 304 1/2 South Main Street, spent two years in the U.S.Navy during the Korean Conflict. Following his release from service, he was a member of the faculty and athletic staff at Maquoketa Community high school for two years and then joined Clinton.
