DR. FRANK HUNT, PROMINENT RETIRED PHYSICIAN DIES

Dr. William Frank Hunt, 74, retired physician, for many years operator of the Fejervary home and active Boy Scout leader, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Mercy hospital after an extended illness. He resided near Pleasant Valley.
Dr. Hunt was born Aug. 10, 1870 in Osage, Ia., and was graduated from the University of Iowa School of Medicine 50 years ago. In 1903 he was married to Julie Baker Harte in Davenport. Active in Boy Scout work and head of the Fejervary home in this city for many years, Dr. Hunt retired a year ago.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian church and belonged to all branches of the Odd Fellow lodge. Dr. Hunt was an officer in the Grand lodge for many years.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. J. H. Rindler of Davenport and three grandchildren, David, Carol Jean and Karl Rindler, all of this city.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Horrigan Home for funerals.
