NAME OF ARTICLE: HOERSCHELMAN-YOUNG VOWS ARE EXCHANGED

Miss Virginia Hoerschelman and Edwin Young were united in marriage in a
ceremony performed at 10:30 Thursday morning in the home of the bride'sparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hoerschelman. The Rev. Milton Nothdurft of the First Methodist church officiated at the double ring service.
The bride chose a white spring ensemble with navy accessories. Her flowers were red roses.
Mrs. Maurice Round, the bride's attendant, wore a navy blue dress with white accessories and a white carnation corsage.
Glen Houston of Miles was the best man.
The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Young, was recently discharged from army duty and is associated with his father in farming. Edwin is a graduate of Maquoketa
high school.
Mrs. Young also graduated from M.H.S. and is employed at the local soil conservation office.
Following a wedding dinner for the bridal party and immediate relatives, the couple
left on a short wedding trip. The new home will be made on route six, Maquoketa.
