NEW LAW FIRM

S. D. Heide and J. S. Becker Associated Together Under the Firm Name of Heide & Becker.

S. D. Heide has removed his office to the rooms formerly occupied by J. C. Campbell as a law office over the post office building. The rooms have been remodeled and papered and withal make a cozy office. Hereafter Mr. J. S. Becker, who has been a close and painstaking law student with Cole & Cole for a space of three years will be associated with Mr. Heide, under the firm name of Heide & Becker. These two young men will carry on a general law business, giving special attention to writing insurance and making collections. After Jan. 1st they will have a complete copy of taxes for Bellevue city, Bellevue, Tete Des Mortes, Jackson and Washington townships and the taxpayers at this end of the county, not wishing to make a special trip to Maquoketa are invited to pay their taxes to the new firm and are assured that they will receive prompt attention. Both are young men of the strictest integrity and exemplary habits and are entitled to and will no doubt receive a large share of the public business in their line. Mr. Heide has been located in Bellevue for the past six months, coming here from Fulton during which time he has gained many warm friends. We bespeak for the new firm abundant success. Give the young men a call and they will attend to your business promptly and satisfactorily.
