Hon. W. A. Maginnis, State Senator from this county, has been put on the following standing committees in the Senate: Federal Relations, Public Lands, Congressional Districts and Orphans’ Home. The whole number of committees is forty-two, and as our Senator is on five quite important committees, it looks as though he was recognized as one of the leading members of that honorable body.
