J.D. MILLMAN, farmer, Sec. 2; P.O. La Motte; he was born Nov. 18, 1846, in St. Louis, Mo.; in 1848, he came with his parents to Jackson Co.; he now owns 180 acres of land. Married Mary Geopfert, in 1870; she was born in Germany; had four children, three living-Hannah, Hermann and George. Is Justice of the Peace. - Source: 1879 History of Jackson County Iowa, pg 691.
