JAMES A. GRAY, farmer, Sec. 32; P.0. Miles; born in Lyons, Clinton Co., in 1852; his parents died when he was about 3 years of age; he was brought up by George F. Green, in whose family he lived till he was married in 1876; his wife was Miss Kate Davis, of Iowa Township. Mr. Gray has 200 acres of land; is engaged in general farming and stock-raising. - 1879 History of Jackson County Iowa, pg. 706
